2011: 2011 is looking to be a big year for our boys. With 3 rounds at our local track (Victor Harbor)and another at the Renmark Dirt Track, we will have a very exciting year. For updated results and photos, go to www.mudntars.com
2009 Update:
The boys have had a few fuel gremlins with the Suzuki, and with most competitors upgrading their engines to bigger machines, it has put TJ & Jason back down the order.
Round One at our home track, Mud n Tars, Day Rd, Victor Harbor, saw TJ & Jason come 3rd at the end of the day.
Round Two, at Acusa Park, Nairne, saw the boys with fuel issues again, and a sluggish, rolling back tyre. While they came last in most of their heats, they still took 54 points at the end of the day.
Round Three , held at Gillman Speedway track for the first time, saw TJ & Jason come away with ? points. In their first race, they could not seem to pull away from the others and after the race , found out they had raced in first gear for the 4 laps.
After overtaking in their second race, they spun out, with no injuries. In their third race, they could not get any speed, and the back tyre seemed sluggish.
In the fourth race, they hit a cone(barrier) and stopped, with TJ coming off the bike and Jason being catapulted over the bike, landing on TJ. Both are fine now, with TJ leaving some arm skin on the track. After the race, it was found that the small, sidecar wheel had been jammed with dolomite/mud and not rolling, just sliding. It had been like this since race 2.
Round Four, held at Acusa Park, saw the team with fuel problems again. Acusa is a longer track with alot of gravity force and the bike appears to not be getting enough fuel. The boys came 5th on this day.
With Round 5 only two weeks away, lets hope they can sort the bike so it runs at its best.

2008: After being involved with local sporting club, “Mud N Tars Motorcycle Club” for over 20 years in various racing and committee roles, TJ decided to resume racing late in 2007.
Having acquired a Suzuki 750cc Sidecar, TJ and Mel entered the SA Dirt Track Championship. They positioned 4th in the South Australian Dirt Track Titles for 2007.
Early in 2008, Mel was unable to race, so TJ found another willing local in Jason.
TJ and Jason first raced together in Round 2 2008 at Victor Harbor.
In round two, they placed 2nd.
In round three, they placed 5th
In round four, they placed 4th and
In round five, they placed 5th for the State Titles.
This placed TJ and Jason 4th in the State Dirt Track Championship.
